What’s in a Name? Quite a lot! That’s why we’re holding a contest to change the name of Haliburton Place - the long-term care center at Hants Community Hospital. We want your suggestions to make a change for the better.

The new name MUST:

  • Reflect the purpose of the building, and role in the community (if applicable)
  • Be culturally appropriate and respectful
  • Align with NS Health’s vision, mission, values and brand
  • Be unique
  • Provide proof of “exceptional contribution” if you are suggesting a person’s name (see detailed rules)
