Thank you for taking part in this survey. Your input is a valuable contribution to this project.
The Nova Scotia Office of Addictions and Mental Health and community organizations are working together to learn about mental health, grief, and bereavement needs in Colchester, Cumberland, Hants Counties, and Millbrook and Sipekne’katik First Nations.
The survey is for people who live, work, or know these communities and who are age 18 or over.
The survey asks about:
- what supports are available in your community to assist with mental wellbeing, grief and bereavement needs;
- what supports may be missing that could benefit the community; and
- what supports and services have been helpful.
Responses from this survey will be combined with the information shared by community through engagement like meetings with community groups and community conversations. The answers will be used to inform a short and clear summary to help governments, service providers, and community groups understand communities’ needs, including what support and services people feel are helping and what could be missing or improved.
If at any point while completing this survey you feel distressed or need support, please consider reaching out to a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life.
