Key Dates

Information from previous engagements with community about people’s needs and experiences will be reviewed. This is intended to make sure people are not asked to repeat their stories again and again.

Three sessions will be held in Colchester, Cumberland, and East Hants bringing together community groups and service providers. These gatherings will help add to what is known about community needs, refine the list of needs, and begin to understand how the existing supports and services are working.

Community organizations in each county will hold community-led conversations across the three counties. These conversations will give community members a chance to share their thoughts and ideas in a way that feels safe and meaningful to them. A survey will also be available for those who prefer to give their input in writing. 

All the voices, stories, and knowledge shared will be reviewed. A summary will be written and returned to the community to share what was found. There will be playback sessions that will help make sure the summary got it right and allow for final feedback before anything is finalized.
