To all the parents and guardians of children born in 2011 – thank you!

Over the past four months, we have been calling and e-mailing thousands of you from all across Nova Scotia, asking you to complete our survey to help improve immunization services here in the province. We are very pleased to announce that the survey portion of the Nova Scotia Enhanced Immunization Access project is now complete.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey online and over the phone with one of our team members. Thanks to your participation, we were able to complete over 2500 surveys between December and March.

The information you generously provided will prove invaluable to Nova Scotia Public Health and our commitment to improving immunization services in the province.

Many of you who participated have requested up-to-date immunization records for your children. Our team is working very hard during this challenging time to collect these for you and send them out as soon as we can.

If you discover that you are in possession of any of your child’s immunization records, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with that information to help improve our records.

You can e-mail a scanned copy or photo of the records to ImmunizationSurvey@nshealth.ca

We will also be conducting the final draws for gift cards in the coming weeks and will notify the winners by telephone.

Thank you once again for participating in the survey. You have made a difference!
