NSH and DHW is working with Tajikeimɨk and the Union of Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq to explore potential training opportunities for staff that is informed by Mi'kmaq and Indigenous communities in Nova Scotia. The introduction to OCAP principles provided us with a basic understanding, but we acknowledge that it is important for staff to have opportunities to learn content informed by our local context. We are looking for your feedback to help us shape what these training opportunities may include, and will work with Tajikeimɨk and the Union of Nova Scotia Mi'kmaq to identify if there are opportunities to provide additional training moving forward.
